This is a longtime shop favorite from one of Puglia's finest, Filippo Cassiano. 100% Primitivo from organic 20 year old vines from Gioia del Cole, just south of Bari, made all in steel and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Primitivo is known for full bodied, low acid fruit bombs, but this one is fresh and more medium bodied, but still with classic notes of crushed dark berries and a velvety finish.
